Morning Oregonian September 25,1904
A quiet but pretty wedding occurred on Thursday,September 15,when Mr. Norman 
D.Evans and Miss Lena K.Smith were united in marriage,Rev.D.P.Curley 
officiating.Mr.David Burness was best man,and Miss Lizzie Cook bridesmaid.The 
bride looked charming in a dress of white point d'esprit,trimmed with duchesse 
lace,and carried a bouquet of Bride roses,Miss Cook wore a handsome gown of 
gray silk trimmed with cluny lace.After a reception,which was held at 346 
Victoria Street,Mr. and Mrs.Evans left for a short wedding trip.They will be 
at home to their friends after October 1 at 346 Victoria street.
