Thursday evening last a large number of invited guests asembled at the First 
Chrisitan church to attend the marriage of Mr.O.H.Smith,one of Portland's best 
known ploiceman.The ceremony was performed by Rev David Wetzell,pastor of the 
church.Miss LaKamp presided at the organ,and the affair was quite elegant 
throughout.The tabernacle was tastefully decorated by the clas in Sunday 
School,of which Miss Eva was a member.After the ceremony at the church a few 
of the most intimate friends and the relatives of the contracting parties went 
ot the home o fthe bride,on Market street,where an elegant wedding repast was 
spread.The presents were costly and numerous.
