Morning Oregonian  September 11,1904
At 8 o'clock Wednesday evening a few relatives and friends gathered at the 
beautfiul home of Dr.and G.M.Wells to witness the marriage of their 
daughter,Miss Mary,to Fred Hiram Strong,who is connected with the Equitable 
Savings & Loan Association of this city. Rev.Edgar P.Hill,D.D.Pastor of the 
Fist Presbyterian Church,performed teh ceremony.The bride was exquisitely 
gowned in white solk and lace,and was the very impersonation of girlish beauty 
and charm.The young couple left the same evening fo rthe East and the World's 
Fair,where they will visit for a few months.
