Oregonian March 19,1839
A very pleasant wedding took place Tuesday at the residence of mr.L.M. 
Parrish,when Mr.J.S.Winchester and Miss AliceParrish were united in marriage 
by the Rev.John Morrison.The house was prettily decorated with a prfusion of 
smilax and cut flowers.The presents were numerous and handsome.After the 
wedding supper,the bride and groom took their daparture for their handosme 
home at 433 East Sixteenth street,Irvington,where they will be at home to 
their friends.
