A. Sevier died Wednesday morning at her home of a heart attack, following an illness since Christmas. She would have been 86 next April. Funeral arrangements are held up pending word from a son in California. Mrs Sevier was born in Michigan in April, 1861 , and spent her childhood and young womanhood there. She came to Polk County over 50 years ago and lived at various times in Falls City, the Cooper Hollow district and later moved to Dallas. She was married to Mr. Sevier, who survives her, 41 years ago. In addition to the husband , she leaves a son, Charles Cookerley of San Francisco, Calif. , two foster sons, Orval Sevier of Portland and Guy Sevier of McMinnville and one sister, Mrs Clara Weeks fo Dallas.
