College Girl Is married To An Eastern Physician
the following announcement was received in Canby with much interest  on the 
part of numerous friends of the bride: Mr and Mrs Alonzo Smith announce the 
marriage of their daughter,Margery,to Dr Townsend William Thorndike,on 
Saturday,Aug.10,1924 at Boston,mass.
Miss Smith gave a series of lectures and demonastrations last year on the 
preparation of foods and nutrtion,as an extension worker from the O.A.C.She is 
a very charming young woman and endeared herself to the large circle of womaen 
and girls who attended the classes held in the M.E Church in Canby
