Irene Cox, whose marriage to Charles Williams will be an event of Aug. 30, at the home of Mrs. Curtis Billing of Echo, on Monday evening, Aug. 19. Many interesting games were played. Including among those present were friends who had worked with Miss. Cox at the Umatilla ordinance depot in the past five years. They were: Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Billing, Clara and Francis Correa and Mary Crow of Echo. Neree Glasgow, Jesse Gurney, Lois Williams, Charles Williams, Mrs. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cox, Irene and Deone Schulities of Ordinance. Mrs. May Daugherty, Mrs. Jerry Scheerger, Nadine McKenzie and Anna Holden of Hermiston. Virginia Morgan of the Umatilla ordinance depot. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Fitzpatrick and Lois Brown of Pendleton. Dainty refreshments were served.
