Body of an Unkown Man Found at The Dalles
The Dalles,Or.,Sept.3-(Special)- The body of a young man about 25 years old 
was discovered lying on the ground among the pines by the residents living 
near the Academy Park school this afternoon. The City Marshal wa snotified and 
upon examination found it to be a case of suicide.There were no papers or 
anything else upon the man's person to identify him in any way.
An empty two ounce vial that once contained carbolic acid was lying near the 
body when found and in a pocket of the coat another vial containing a mixture 
of acid and laudanum from which about half had been taken. The police are 
inclined ot believe the man an ex convict on account of the clothing being of 
prison manufacture.
