E. Doble Dies Mrs. M. E. Doble, 60, 212 SW Isaac Ave, died at St. Anthony’s hospital here early Wednesday afternoon. She had been stricken suddenly with a heart attack Saturday morning and had been unconscious since Saturday afternoon, her son, Ralph M. Doble reported. Funeral notice appears on classified page today. Born Jennie Elizabeth Stockdale at Coburg, February 27, 1893,She married Merrill Doble at Echo in 1912, and moved to Pendleton 1923. Survivors include her widower, M. E. Doble, Pendleton; four sons, Ralph M. and Robert F., Pendleton; Roy E.;San Mateo, Calif., and Dale H., Portland; two daughters, Mrs.Ruth Bailey and Mrs. Grace Henrikson, both of Seattle, Wash; 13 grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Stockdale, Spokane, Wash: four brothers, Jesse and Isaac, Twisp, Wash;& Albert, Sprague, Wash; Richard, Baker, and two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Baker, Portland, and Mrs. Lena Balzarini, San Mateo, California. Mrs. Doble an active volunteer worker in Red Cross, won attention during the latest Red Cross drive for her impressive sewing record during the past four years as a volunteer worker in the production department.
