Clara Leannah Hampton-Cox

HEPPNER - Clara Leannah Hampton-Cox, 95, died this morning at Pioneer Nursing 
Home.

Cremation services were today. A memorial service will be arranged for a later 
date.

Born March 13, 1888, at Baywood, Va., she was the daughter of Charles A. and 
Nancy J. (Todd) Hampton.

On Oct. 13, 1909, she married William Claude Cox at Baywood. They came to Oregon
in December, 1909. 

Surviving are Nancy Jane Holden of Battleground, Wash.; three sons: Clair H. Cox
of Corvallis, William L. Cox of Milton-Freewater; eight grandchildren and seven 
great grandchildren.

Sweeney Mortuary, Heppner, is in charge of arrangements.
