G. Harris Dies At Hermiston

HERMISTON, August 20,-- George Harris, old time resident of Hermiston passed 
away early Saturday morning at Hermiston General Hospital. His death was 
unexpected, though he had been ill the greater part of the past two years, but 
the previous evening was in good spirits.
Employed for five years previous to illness with the Inland Co-operative, he was 
well known to the many patrons. He had four sons in the service during the past 
war, Robert, William, Wayne, and George Jr., and also a son-in-law. Besides
the widow there remain three younger sons and two daughters. He was 56 years of 
age last April. 
Funeral arrangements are awaiting word from the sons, two of whom are in 
Georgia.
