KARSTENS, Hermine, age 75, late of Helix. Wife of Momine Karstens, 
Helix; mother of Col. Andres Kerstens, Dayton, Ohio; Dr. Hans 
Karstens, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Harry Grove, Pilot Rock; Mrs. 
Jack Stevens, Helix; sister of Carl Christianson, Lebanon Ore.; 
Hans Christianson, Molalla, Ore.; John Christianson, West Germany; 
Mrs. Clara Sohn, Mobile, Ala.; Mrs. Hannah Heesch and Mrs. Adele 
Kluwer, both of West Germany; grandmother of four. Funeral services 
will be Thursday, Sept. 19, 10:00 A.M. FOLSOMS’ FUNERAL CHAPEL 
(off-street parking for family and friends entrance on SE 2nd). 
Burial in Olney Cemetery.
