Ray Lewis

MILTON-FREEWATER- The Funeral for Ray Lewis will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday 
at Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, Milton-Freewater, with vault interment 
at the Milton-Freewater Cemetery. 

Lewis, 61, Milton-Freewater, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 1985, at his home.

Lewis was born Dec. 5, 1923 at Smethport, N.C., the son of Jesse and Rhody 
(Manuel) Lewis. He attended school and was raised in West Jefferson, N.C. 

He served in the U.S. Army.
