Richard Davidson, First Christian Church officiated at the funeral services for Edna G. McDonald, 81, in the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, March 26. Pall bearers were Rolland Kaesemeyer, Gordon Faires, Jim Foster, Dean Weatherman, Ray Geissel and Fred Etling. Sacred selections by Mrs. Bern Bliss were "How Great Thou Art" and "In the Garden". Mrs. Fred Etling was organist. Mrs. McDonald was born near Weston February 22, 1893. Her parents were Peter and Ann Geiss who were wheat rancher. In 1902 they moved to Milton-Freewater. On November 18, 1920 she married Frank McDonald and the couple spent the rest of their lives here. He died in 1940. She had been in ill health for several years. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Burial was in the Milton-Freewater Cemetery under the direction of Menselle-Rhodes Funeral Home.
