SHOWAWAY, James Nelson, 26, late of Pendleton, son of Louise Showaway, 
Pendleton; grandson of Mrs. Alice Barnhart, Pendleton; Mrs. Millie Sampson, 
Toppenish, Wash.; nephew of Abraham Showaway, Celilo, Ore.; brother of Willard 
D. Showaway, Pendleton; Mrs. Paul Smartlowit, Wapato, Wash.; Mrs. Elizabeth
Jackson, Klickatat, Wash., nephew of Lillian Williams, Auburn, Wash., Lucy 
Ludlow, Portland, Ore., and Barbara Billy, several cousins. Requiem Mass will
be Tuesday, Sept. 18, 9:00 A.M. , at St. Andrews Church, with Rev. Charles 
Driesbach, celebrant. Rosary will be at the Community Hall, Mission, at 7:00 P.M. 
Monday, with Indian services by Watson Totus after rosary. Burial will be in the 
Agency Cemetery. BURNS MORTUARY in care of arrangements.
