Swauger left la Grande Saturday night on the train for this home at Norht Fork, and how he was killed is a mysty. Portions of his body were found along the tracks for yards.He was a railroad man and worked for the O.R.&N Co., near this city for years. It is believed that the train was going at full speed when he attempted to get off. He belonged to several fraternal orders in La Grande, was 47 years of age, and left a wife and five children.
