The Weston Ledger Thursday, February 28, 1901 W.J. Vaughn Athena Press: W.J. Vaughn died at his home in this city Tuesday night of consumption. Mr. Vaughn had been confined to the house most of the winter, and for some time had been growing gradually worse until the end. He leaves a wife, three daughters and two sons. He was born near Jacksonville Illinois, January 2, 1844, and had been a resident of this county since 1886.
