Abot $300 worth of gold watches were taken.A tray containing the watches had been left over night in the front show window covered with paper.The thief broke the window with a stone,making a hole about large enough to admit a man's arm,and secured everything within reah. Van Norden's store is situated on Second street,in one of the busiest portions of town,where such a robber might be seen at any moment by passer bys. The police have no clue.
