E. P. M'DANIEL DIES OREGON RESIDENT SINCE 1863 SUCCUMBS TO ILLNESS. Funeral Expected to Be Held Tomorrow Afternoon in Portland Crematorium. Mrs. E. P. McDaniel, aged 80, Oregon resident since 1863, died last night at 7:30 at her home, 930 Westover road, after an illness of six months. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but it is expected services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Portland crematorium. E. P. McDaniel, her widower; two sons, Dr. E. B. McDaniel and Dr. R. C. McDaniel three daughters, Mrs. S. G. Rees, Mrs. Charles Hopping and Mrs. Alice Brodie, and a brother, Goodwin Cowles, all of Portland, survive. Mr. and Mrs. E. P. McDaniel had been married for 57 years. Mrs. McDaniel was born in Missouri and she came to Oregon in 1863. She and her husband were well-known residents of the Cove, Or., district for years. They moved to Portland in 1910. Mrs. McDaniel was a member of the Episcopal church and of the Oregon Pioneers. The body is at Finley's undertaking establishment. Additional Comments: Wife of Enos P.
