The arm was amputated at the shoulder a few hours after the accident. The cause of his death is attributed to the fact of his having catarrh of the stomach,and soon after his being shot he was given some bitters from a country store in Kamela.The natural condition of his stomach,the bitters and the great shock were too much for him and caused poisoning. Mr.Carlson leaves a wife and family at Kamela.He was a middle aged man and one of the most progressive men in that district.
