Morning Oregonian November 27,1904
New York,Nov.26-Mrs.Helen Densmore, wife of Dr.Emmett Densmore,a prominent 
Brooklyn man, died today, the cause of death being given as asthma. The 
physician who was called in the case shortly before her death asked for an 
investigation, becuase she was had not been treated by a regular physician. 
Because he had not been called in at an earlier stage in th eillness, the 
physician refused to issue a death certificate, and notified the Coroner's 
office. Dr.Densmore and wife founded the National Food Society of London, and 
for the past 14 years they have been constant in their efforts on behalf of 
Mrs.Florence Maybrick, who was their guest after the arrivalin the ocuntry 
after her release form the Englih prison. Mrs.Densmore was 71 years old. Mrs. 
Maybrick was with Mrs.Densmore up to the time of death.
The Coroner after an investigation, decided that death was due to natural 
causes, resulting from an attack of acute indigestion to which Mrs. Densmore 
was subject.
