All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/or/orfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Sheron Faynor nitwittwin@hotmail.com June 16, 2008, 2:19 pm Morning Oregonian September 18,1904 The prettiest wedding of the season was solemnized at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Frank T.Sampson on the evening of September 14,when their daughter,Florence Perses,was united in marriage to Oliver Roscoe Krier,by Rev.D.V.Poling,of the Congregational Church of this city in the presence of relatives and many intimate friends.The parlors were gorgeously decorated in similax and Oregon grape,forming a beautiful background for the wedding party.The dining room was decorated in pink.The wedding march wa splayed by Mrs.B.S.Huntington.The bride,who was given away by her father,was beauiful in a gaown of accordian pleated white orgnady chiffon over taffeta silk and carried white roses.Miss Virginia Hilgen,the bridesmaid,wore a gown of pink organdie and carried bride's roses.MrsFrank T.Sampson,the bride's mother,was gowned in black.The groom was attended by Mr.Gene Moore as best man. The bride is one of The Dalles most charming and accomplished young ladies and the groom is a very popular young man,connected with the firm of A.M. Williams & Co. After the ceremony which took place at 9 o'clock,the wedding supper was served.Mr. and Mrs. Krier left on the morning train for an extended wedding trip.They will be at home to their friends at the residence og the bride's parents after October 1.
