Age 63 years, 4 months, 3 days. Rest Mother Rest In Quiet Sleep While Friends In Sorrow O'er Thee Weep". The top is off. The footstone says "Mother". There are 3 footstones. There is one that says "Willie" to the west, one that says "Mother" behind the obelisk and to the east a stone that says "James". James B. Fitzpatrick. "James B. Son of James and Margaret Fitzpatrick. May 26, 1873, aged 16 years, 7 months, 8 days. Weep Not Father And Mother for Me For I Am Waiting In glory For Thee". Willie Fields Fitzpatrick "Willie Fields Fitzpatrick. Son of Charles and Maggie Fitzpatrick. Died August 20, 1880, aged 1 year, 9 months and 29 days. Tread Softly For An Angel Band Doth Guard The Silent Dust And We Can Safely Leave Our boy, Our Darling In Their Trust". The inscriptions are on the south side and east side. James R. Norval/Sarah S. Norval The marker to the east says "James R. Norval. Born November 21, 1863. Died December 8, 1871". This is on the west side. On the east side it says "Sarah S. Norval. Born July 26, 1859. Died December 8, 1871". Second Row Zilpha A. Bennett On the south side. "Zilpha A. Bennett. August 16, 1827 to April 6, 1896. Your Care And Toil For Us Are Past. Rest Mother Rest". Esther Bennett On the west side "Esther A. Bennett. July 9, 1859. Our Sister". Thomas M. Bennett On the east side. "Thomas M. Bennett. August 16, 1814. January 23, 1903. An Honest Man, A Faithful Father". There is nothing on the north side. On the east side is the father, south side is the mother and west side is the sister. There are 3 footstones. The one to the east is TMB, in the middle is ZAB and on the west side is EAB. Samuel T. Bennett 1865 - 1929 This grave is caved in. Infant Chastain "Infant son of J H and M C Chastain. March 21, 1878". Elizabeth C. Chastain "Elizabeth C. Chastain. May 4, 1856 to April 4, 1874". Fannie Estellie Chastain "Fannie Estellie Chastain. January 22, 1871 to January 1, 1874". In this same row there are rocks that appear to have been set up as headstones and footstones with nothing written on them. There are three rocks in a semi circle. It looks like two are head and foot stones and the single rock is only a head or foot stone. The rocks are in a semi circle. I don't know what they represent. There is no footstone (headstone) with the third rock. Third Row To the east is a rock. It doesn't have an inscription but looks like it is a stone marker. Thomas W. Porter "Thomas W. Porter. Died May 8, 1874, aged 52 years". Edward Fitzpatrick "Edward Fitzpatrick. 1858 to 1934. Father". Lindy E. Fitzpatrick "Lindy E. Wife of E C Fitzpatrick. June 9, 1859, December 21, 1912". Footstone says "Mother" Alvira H. McAtee "Alvira H McAtee. March 4, 1836 to March 4, 1911". Died on her birthday. The footstone says "Mother". James Francis Marion Steers "James Francis Marion Steers. Born March 18, 1832. Died April 9, 1867. Gone But Not Forgotten. Erected by his wife and children". No footstone. Orin Francis Steers/Ray Vincent Steers "Orin Francis Steers. born July 4, 1897. Died February 6, 1906". It says "Our Loved Ones" on one side. On the back it says "Ray Vincent Steers. Born December 10, 1887. Died June 22, 1889". There are two footstones. One says "Orin" and one says "Ray". Fourth Row Mollie Powne Fenced enclosure. "Powne, Mollie. Wife of N G Powne. Born November 1, 1871. Died November 16, 1897. Not Lost But gone Before". Anna R. Beattie Obelisk. "Anna R. Daughter of Robert and Emma Beattie. Born August 2, 1883. Died June 22, 1899, age 15 years, 10 months, 20 days. Precious Darling Thou Hast Left Us Yes Forevermore But We Hope To Meet Our Loved One On That Bright And Happy Shore". Emma Kistner "Emma. Wife of Ira Kistner. Daughter of B C and A McAtee. Died July 10, 1898, age 26 years, 3 months, 22 days". There is a white footstone with initials "WWM". Probably belongs to William H. McAtee. Fifth Row There is a rock in line with the other sites and could be a marker. It is right behind Bertie Brittain. Helen McGown Obelisk with top off. There is something in the ground right to the south of it. A stone of some kind like something should have been sitting on it. "Helen Ann. Wife of A C McGown. Born February 4, 1848. Died February 22, 1890" Sarah McAtee East side. "Sarah McAtee. Born July 28, 1818. Died October 24, 1898. There is an arrow below the date pointing to the north. W. H. McAtee South side. " W H McAtee. Born in Kentucky September 12, 1825. Died November 12, 1890". at the bottom is says "McAtee". It looks like there might be something off the top missing. Phebe McAtee "Phebe McAtee. Born in Kentucky January 1, 1800. Died November 12, 1878. Cantrell No inscription. Sixth Row Moad South side. "Maybell R. Moad. Born January 23, 1880. Died December 13, 1886". West side. "J. N. Moad. Born May 29, 1827. Died October 24, 1898". North side. "Annie R. Moad. born December 28, 1873. Died December 6, 1886". North side underneath above. "Betty E. Moad. born February 8, 1869. Died September 30, 1886. East side. "Mary E. Moad. 1837 to 1908" There are small stones that look fairly new and have been cleaned around. One says" Maybell" and one says" Annie". One says" Mother" and one says "Father". They are not in line with the above marker. To the far east of the cemetery there is a big lilac tree. Up next to the tree is the marker for: Lavona A. White "Lavona A. White. born December 27, 1880. Died November 2, 1905. Gone Before". There are iris planted here. Seventh Row Bertie Brittain "Bertie Loas Brittain. September 13, 1899 to August 13, 1901. Alva T. Boynton Obelisk with top gone. "Heaven Is My Home" with a hand pointing upwards. "Alva T. Beloved husband of Josie Boynton. Born april 25, 1851. Died December 30, 1881". In direct line with the above are two rocks that may be markers. Ruthie G. Meloy "Ruthie G. Daughter of G A and N M Meloy. Born November 10, 1895. Died January 28, 1897 aged 1 year, 2 months, 18 days. Rest. Just When We Learned To Love Her Most, God Called Her Back To Heaven". Eighth Row Daphine Earlcot Conley "Daphine Earlcot Conley. 1901 to 1917. Rest And Sleep". There is a cement slab that covers what appears to be just one grave. Ninth Row Martin v. Smith "Martin V. Smith. Company A, 65 Illinois Infantry". That is all it says, no date, nothing else. George Edward Smith "George Edward Smith. Oregon Private 46 Coast Art. Corp. March 18, 1919". A metal marker with no visible writing. (Evangeline Smith?)
