A TRADITION OF SERVICE Chief E9 Bobbi Boutwell has served 25 years in the US Air Force. She is a jet mechanic working on fighter planes. She has 500 to 700 people in her command at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona near Phoenix. She plans on remaining in the Air Force for five more years. Her brother T/SGT David Puerner has been in the service for 21 years. He is a load master and flies a C-130. He is stationed at the Air Force Base in Texas. He has spent one year in the Gulf War and just spent six months in the Mid-East. He is now preparing to go back. Their parents are Robert and Jan Puerner. He is a retired Master Sgt. from the Air Force, having served 22 years. They have two bluestars in their front window which means they have two in the service.
