GRESHAM WOMAN DIES IN COLLISION

A 70-year-old Gresham (Oregon) woman died Friday when her car collided with a 
truck just north of Moro (Oregon) on Highway 97.

Oregon State Police identified the victim as Helen E. Warsaw.

The accident report said she was southbound and went onto the shoulder of 
the road at Milepost 16.65, then traveled into the path of a truck and 
flatbed trailer operated by William Alexander McLeod of Namaino, B.C. Canada, 
in the northbound land.

She died at the scene of the accident. McLeod was not injured.

Both drivers were alone in their vehicles, police reported.

McLeod consented to a blood test. No citations have been issued.
