The Dalles Weekly Reminder, July 7, 1983
     Arthur Orville Blair, 61, a resident of Auburn, Wash., since 1969 and 
formerly a resident of The Dalles, died June 29 at his home.
     He was born Oct. 27, 1921 at Moose Mills, Ky., and moved to The Dalles in 
1954 and worked as a carpenter at The Dalles Dam and other projects before 
moving to Auburn.
     He was a 25-year member of the Eagles Lodge and was also a member of the 
Auburn Moose Lodge and the Carpenter's Union.
     Survivors include a son, Leroy, Tacoma; three daughters, Mrs. Larry 
(Betty) Deitrich and Mrs. Doug (Shirley)Kittleson, both of The Dalles; and 
Mrs. Jim (Joyce) Middlebrook, Emmett, Idaho; six grandchildren, two brothers 
and three sisters.
     Funeral services were Saturday at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home 
and burial was at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery.
