The Dalles Weekly Reminder, July 19, 1984
Margaret A. Bodtke, 73, died Tuesday, July 10, at a hospital in Hood River.  
She was a resident of Appleton, Wash.

She was born Nov. 22, in Cambridge, Neb.

Mrs. Bodtke was a retired beauty School instructor and was a member of St. 
Joseph's Catholic Church in White Salmon, Wash.

Survivors include her husband, Martin, Appleton; a son, John Emery, Montclair, 
Calif.; a daughter, Barbara Hudges, Junction City; a brother, Pat McKillip, 
Chico, Calif.; a sister, Genevieve Vest, Goldendale, Wash.; eight 
grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Recitation of the rosary was July 12 at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon 
with the Rev. John O'Dea officiating.  The funeral mass was July 13 at St. 
John's the Baptist Church in Milwaukie, and burial followied at St. John's 
Cemetery in that city.
