     Jennifer “Jenn” Marie Bolton, 25, a resident of The Dalles, died at her 
home Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004.
     She was born March 14, 1979, in The Dalles, the older of two children to 
Daniel Lynn and Mercedes (Hammel) Bolton. She grew up in the Dufur area and 
graduated from Dufur High School in 1998.
     She worked in the deli at Safeway and had worked for Safeway for the last 
five and a half years. She was a caring person, devoted to her family, enjoyed 
spending time with her friends, talking cars with her Dad and brother, being 
with her pets and shopping.
     She is survived by her parents, Daniel and Mercedes Bolton, Dufur, 
brother Colter, attending Weber State University in Ogden, Utah; grandparents, 
William “Lynn” and Wilma Bolton, Dufur; Leo and Roxie Hammel, The Dalles; and 
numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
     Viewing visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, 
Sept. 15, at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home.
     Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, September 17, at St. 
Peter’s Catholic Church with Rev. Todd Unger and Asa Jenson officiating.      
Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory.
     She was always sensitive to the homeless and families standing on the 
corners with signs; for this reason the family ask that remembrances be made 
to St. Vincent DePaul, P.O. Box 553, The Dalles, OR 97058 or the Salvation 
Army, P.O. Box 380, The Dalles, Or 97058.
