The Dalles Chronicle, January 4, 2005
     Glenda F. Boyd, 62, a former resident of The Dalles, died Dec. 16 in 
Spokane. She was born Dec. 2, 1942 in Medford. 
     She graduated from The Dalles High School and attended beauty school. On 
Dec. 20, 1963, she married Gerald Boyd. They moved from Spokane to Longview, 
Wash., in 1997 and recently returned to Spokane. 
     She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gerald D. Boyd, Spokane; a 
son, Scott Boyd and fiance Nikki Dixon, Spokane; a daughter, Shellie and Doug 
Clark, Spokane Valley; two sisters, Sharon and Don Wright, Portland; and 
Barbara Nichols, Woodland, Calif.; four grandchildren, Katelyn, Melanie, Brice 
and Elizabeth, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held in 
December.
     Memorial contributions may be made to a children’s charity of choice. 
Arrangements were by Hennessey Valley Funeral Home and Crematory, Spokane.
