The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 9, 1984
     Celo Braget, 66, died in Portland, July 29.  She resided in The Dalles 
since 1953.

     She was born in Hoople, N.D. on June 13, 1918.

     Mrs. Braget had worked at The Dalles Cherry Growers for 12 years before 
her retirement.

     She is survived by a son; three daughters, Sharon Lee Bodle, Oregon City; 
Nancy Lynn Rone and Nylene Loy Cumiford, both of The Dalles; seven 
grandchildren; a brother, Elwood Hillier, Chicago; and three sisters, Dolly 
Moon, Kingston, Wash.; Doris Tetrault, Bremerton, Wash., and Jennie, Los 
Gatos, Calif.  Her husband, Norman, died in February of 1981.

     Graveside services were Thursday in the veteran's section of The Dalles 
IOOF Cemetery with the Rev. Karl Vercourteren officiating.
 
     Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
