The Dalles Weekly Reminder, September 6, 1984
Jeffrey Michael Brice, 14, died as a result of injuries received in a traffic 
accident, Aug. 11, in Portland.  He was a former resident of The Dalles and 
Rufus.

He was born Aug. 15, 1970 at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.  He had attended school in 
The Dalles and Rufus and had lived in Rufus until two weeks ago when the 
family moved to Aloha.  He played Babe Ruth and Little League baseball in this 
area.  

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Brice, Aloha; two sisters, 
Mikal Kari and Kacey Lynelle, both of Aloha; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Everett Brice, Rufus; Mrs. Ellen Calder, Beaverton; and Mr. and Mrs. Don 
Calder, La Grande; four sets of aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ringo, 
Aloha; Mr. and Mrs. Don Calder Jr., Beaverton; Mr. and Mrs. Ron Brice, 
Washougal, Wash.; and Mr. and Mrs. Don Brice, DeRidder, La.; and four cousins, 
Jason and Scott Ringo, Dawn and Dustin Brice.

Memorial services were Tuesday at the First Christian Church in The Dalles 
with pastor Ron Coleman officiating.  Finley Sunset Hills Funeral Home in 
Portland was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Sherman County Babe Ruth Association.
