The Dalles Weekly Reminder, May 14, 1982
     Donald Dwight Bridgmon, 58, a resident of The Dalles since 1967, died May 
5 at the local hospital.
     He was born Oct. 3, 1923 in Humbolt, Neb.
     Mr. Bridgmon was a member of the Eagles Lodge in The Dalles and was a 
veteran of World War II, and the Korean War.
     Survivors include his wife, Florence Bridgmon, The Dalles; one son, David 
Rex Bridgmon, Norwalk, Conn.; two daughters, Donna Fortin, Kansas City, Kan., 
and Diane Callen, McCook, Neb.; two stepchildren, Beverly Clayton, Winchester, 
Kan., and Staff Sgt. Jack Zule, Fort Ord, Calif.; his mother, Ethel Bridgmon, 
The Dalles; 11 grandchildren and one niece and one nephew.  His father and 
brother died earlier.
     Graveside funeral services were May 7 at The Dalles Odd Fellows 
Cemetery.  Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
     Memorials are suggested to The Dalles General Hospital scholarship fund.
