The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 20, 1984
     Alice W. Bronson, 72, died Dec. 13 at Mid-Columbia Medical Center.  She 
was a resident of The Dalles.
     Mrs. Bronson worked as an anesthetist at the Mid-Columbia Medical Center 
from 1971 until her retirement a few years ago.  She was born June 1, 1912 in 
New Jersey.  She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church.
     She is survived by her husband Robert Bronson; two step-sons:  Richard, 
Spokane, Wash., and David, Mount Lake Terrace, Wash.; one step-daughter, Mrs. 
Kathryne Lechtenberg, Maquoketa, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. M. K. Leonard, Noank, 
Conn.; a brother, W. H. Wingate Jr., Charlotte, N. C.; and several nieces and 
nephews.
     Memorial services were Saturday at St. Paul Episcopal Church.  The Rev. 
Ric Simpson officiated.  Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
