     Jillian “Jill” Ashley Brown, 21, a resident of The Dalles, died at her 
home on Monday, Jan. 17, 2005.
     She was born Nov. 17, 1983, in Portland, the only child of Richard Glen 
and Lani Sue (Kyle) Moar. She was a resident of California, Michigan and 
Oregon before graduating from Sandy High School in 2001.
     She was a homemaker and mother to twin boys, Felix and Ottis. Her loves 
included sewing, cooking, snowboarding, family and life in general.
     She is survived by her husband, Brian Joe Brown, whom she married Oct. 
22, 2004, at Timberline Lodge, her sons, Felix Earl and Ottis Joe Brown, all 
of The Dalles; her step-daughter, Justina Brown, Mosier; her father, Rick Moar 
and his wife, Laurie, Bend; her mother, Lani Moar, Almont, Mich.; mother-in-
law, Rhonda Brown, The Dalles; grandparents, Floyd and Dody Ferrell, Lyle; 
Paul and Jackie VanNess, The Dalles; Lonnie and Leota Kyle, Sandy; Glen and 
Dorothy Moar, Eugene; step-brothers, Collin Hymes, Thousand Oaks, Calif.; 
Tyler and Reid Hymes, Bend, and many other family members and friends.
     Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, at the 
Evangelical Church, 1001 East 12th St., with Pastor Doug Marquardt 
officiating. Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with 
Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
