The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 18, 1982
     Mary Margaret Buchan, 54, a resident of The Dalles for the past 16 months 
since moving here from Portland, died Saturday at the local hospital.

     She was born June 29, 1927 in Denver, Colo.

     Mrs. Buchan was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

     Survivors include her husband, Robert, The Dalles; two sons, Arthur 
Brash, San Francisco, and Robin Buchan in the U.S. Navy; two daughters, Teri 
Needle, Rivera, Ariz., and Cheryl Walton, Roswell, N.M.; nine grandchildren, 
and her sister, Doris Mayberry, Lawndale, Calif.

     Funeral services were Wednesday at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home 
with the Rev. Martin Quigley officiating.  Cremation followed in Portland.
