     Mary Buck-O’Donnell, 70, a resident of The Dalles, died Nov. 17, 2004, at 
her home with her children at her side.
     She was born May 21, 1934, in Waldron, Ark., to Albert and Myrtle 
(Heckard) Jaco. As a young child, she moved with her family to Sonoma County, 
Calif., where she lived most of her life. She moved to The Dalles two years 
ago. In July 1949, she and Elvin Buck were married. He died in 1984. In 1988 
she married Richard O’Donnell. He died in 2001.
     She worked as a nurse’s aide for 18 years at the Warrack Medical Center 
Hospital in Santa Rosa, Calif.
     She was a member of the Life In Christ Center in The Dalles.
     She was preceded in death by her grandson, David Buck-Martushev in 1998.
     Survivors include her mother, Myrtle Carter, The Dalles; seven children 
and numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
     Interment will be at Idlewild Cemetery in Hood River.
     Services will be held Monday, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m. at Anderson’s Tribute 
Center. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. at 
Anderson’s Tribute Center.
     Arrangements are in care of Anderson’s Tribute Center 1401 Belmont, Hood 
River, Oregon 97031.
