The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 21, 1984
     Ruby B. Burch, 93, died Sunday at the hospital.  She lived in The Dalles 
since 1950.

     She was born July 19, 1890 at Adel.  She had lived in The Dalles from 
1926 until 1943 before she moved and returned to The Dalles in 1950.

     She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.

     Survivors include three sons, Pete and Ernie Miles, The Dalles, and Ed 
Miles, Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Audrey Larsen, The Dalles; 14 
grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and a 
brother, Wilbur Phillips, in California.

     Recitation of the rosary was Tuesday night at Smith Callaway Chapel.  The 
mass of Christian burial was Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church with the 
Rev. Martin Quigley as celebrant.  Burial followed at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery.

     Casketbearers were Gib Wiley, Dave Middleton, Jerry and Jim Larsen, Stan 
Middleton, Jack Wallace and Don Budd.
