The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 12, 1984
     Adeline Chaffin, 67, of The Dalles, died Saturday at a Portland hospital.

     She was born Feb. 17, 1917 in San Francisco.

     She worked as a clerk for Reeni Shoes in Cascade Square.

     Survivors include an uncle, Tona Silva, San Francisco.

     Funeral services were yesterday (Wednesday) at Smith Callaway Chapel with 
the Rev. Rich Simpson officiating.  Private burial followed at The Dalles IOOF 
Cemetery.
