The Dalles Chronicle, February 2, 2005
     Randy Martin Cole, 53, a former resident of The Dalles, died in a 
Portland hospital on Jan. 19, 2005.
     He was born July 25, 1951 in Vancouver, Wash., to Ronald Martin Cole and 
Jacqueline Finch Cole. The family moved to The Dalles in 1966 and he finished 
his schooling at Wahtonka High School in 1967.
     He worked as a EMT for The Dalles Fire Department before moving to 
Everett, Wash., to work in the neon sign industry. He later moved to Portland 
to do the same kind of work.
     He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed skin diving, snorkeling, boating, 
rafting, camping and was an expert cook over the campfire. He also enjoyed 
hunting and fishing and was an accomplished artist and did many beautiful 
paintings.
     He is survived by his significant other, Glenda Nnoli, Portland; his son, 
D’mitri Cole; his daughter Bonnie Cole and son Ben Cole; his granddaughter, 
Rylie Margaret Cole and his father, Ron Cole, all of Everett; his mother, 
Jackie Cole, Mosier; his brothers, Mike Cole and his wife, Lorrie, Everett; 
Rick Cole and his wife, Debbie, Mosier; and Russ Cole and his wife, Joetta, 
Mosier; his grandfather, Sam Beck, John Day; aunts, Marjorie Cole Shiluk, 
Washougal; Nancy Finch Rousseau, Georgia; and Brenda Finch Magee, Springfield; 
uncle John Finch, Warm Springs; and nephews Jon, Russ Jr., Ron, Ryan and Roy; 
and nieces Kristine, Heather, Poppy and numerous cousins.
     Private services will be held at a later date.
