The Dalles Chronicle, July 21,   2006
     Jose Manuel Diaz, 28, died July 15 at the local hospital. 

     He was born April 10, 1978 in Colotlan, Mexico to Alberto and Raquel 
(Ramirez) Diaz. 

     He had been working as a supervisor for Oswald Ranches in Mosier. 

     He married Lisa Rae Owyenon Nov. 1, 2003 in Odell. 

     He is survived by his wife, Lisa Diaz. The Dalles; his parents, Alberto 
and Raquel, Mexico; his siblings German and Araceli Ramirez Diaz,Hood River, 
Veronica Diaz, Lafayette, Ind., Mario Diaz, Mosier, Guadalupe Diaz, Rowena, 
Sergio Diaz, Rowena, Christina Diaz, Mexico, Marisol Diaz, Lafayette, Ind.; as 
well as nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

     He was preceded in death by his brother, Claudio Diaz. 

     Mass of Christian burial was held Thursday, July 20 at St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church of Hood River. Interment will follow at a later date in 
Colotlan, Mexico. 

     Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson’s Tribute Center 1401 
Belmont Ave. in Hood River.
