The Dalles Chronicle, March 23, 2005
     Curtis John Elliott, 52, a former resident of The Dalles, died at his 
home in Palm Desert, Calif., on March 15, 2005.
     He was born on Nov. 19, 1952, the third of six children to Lynn and 
Angeline (Sander) Elliott in The Dalles.
     He graduated from The Dalles High School in 1971 and worked in the 
construction and mechanic trades before moving to Portland, working in the 
mechanic and industrial maintenance fields and in self employed business. 
     He is survived by two daughters, Katherine and Angelynne Elliott, 
Portland; his mother, Angeline Roberts, Thousand Palms, Calif.; two sisters, 
Jennifer Clements, Reno, Nev.; and Judi Desrochers, Vancouver, Wash.; two 
brothers, Tom Elliott, The Dalles; and Brian Elliott, Olympia.
     He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, William D. Elliott.
Services were held March 19 in Palm Desert under the direction of FitzHenry 
Funeral Home. Private interment will be in Portland.
