The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March 29, 1984
Ruby Irene (Jackie) Ellison, 71, a resident of The Dalles since 1930, died at 
her home Friday after an extended illness.

She was born July 27, 1912 in Sisters.

Survivors include her husband Buck Ellison, The Dalles, whom she married Sept. 
18, 1930 in The Dalles; a son, Bob Ellison, The Dalles.  A sister Ruth Hemm, 
Sisters; a brother Ervin Gist, Great Falls, Mont.; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were Tuesday in the Parklawn Cemetery with the Rev. Norman 
Clear officiating.

Memorials have been suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
