The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 8, 1982
     Mrs. Geraldine A. Engberg, 64, a lifetime resident of Wasco, died Jan. 2 
at the local hospital.
     She was born Oct. 2, 1917 at Wasco.
     She was a member of the Wasco Church of Christ, Annie Fulton Chapter, 
Order of Eastern Star and the Wasco Women's Study Club.
     Surviving are her husband Harold, Wasco; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Kaye) 
Burgett, Dufur; her mother, Myrtle Funk, Wasco, and three grandchildren, 
Steven, Mary and Jodi Burgett, all of Dufur.
     Funeral services were held Jan. 5 at the Wasco Church of Christ with 
Pastor Roy Biggs officiating.
     Pall bearers were Francis Watkins, Donald McDermid, Arthur Van Gilder, 
Norman Cochnauer, Paulen Kaseberg, and Richard Skiles.  Burial was at Sunrise 
Cemetery in Wasco.
     Friends may contribute to Wasco Church of Christ or to a favorite 
charity.  Smith Callaway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
