The Dalles Chronicle, August 28, 2005
     Regarda Flowers, 88, died Aug. 24, 2005 at her home in La Grande.
     She was born in Balfour, N.D. to Theodore and Barbara Volk on Oct. 13, 
1916. She lived in The Dalles for many years before moving to La Grande in 
1995. Her favorite pastimes were cooking and baking for her family and 
friends. She also loved to read.
     She is survived by her daughters Charlotte Line Roger of Irrigon; Connie 
Driessen and Dennis of Klamath Falls; Jeanette Wilson and Tony of La Grande; 
Della McWilliams and Bob of Calhan, Colo.; her son Donald Flowers and Linda of 
Dallesport; and her sister Katherine Grinsteiner of Wallas, Mich.      She had 
15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 
husband Arnold Flowers, her mother and father and many brothers and sisters.
     Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
     Services will be held on Monday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church 
in The Dalles.
