Surnames: Foley, Fromhart Michael "Mike" Henry Foley, 34, a resident of Battle Ground, Washington, formerly of The Dalles, died at a Portland hospital on Sunday, October 13, 2002. He was born August 9, 1968, in The Dalles to Jerome Anthony and Irena Monica (Fromhart) Foley. He grew up in The Dalles, attended St. Mary's Academy and graduated from The Dalles High School in 1986. After high school, he spent four years in active duty in the U.S. Marines and then was a Marine reservist for four additional years. While in the service, he also worked part time for Carl's Jr. Restaurants and after his discharge continued full time with the company. He moved with the company to the Portland area four years ago and was a district manager with Carl's Jr. He was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed his family and participating in his sons' activities. He is survived by his wife, Tonya L. Foley, whom he married on March 31, 1992, at Camp Pendleton, California; his sons, Joseph and Jeffrey Foley, Battle Ground and Martin Foley, New York; his father, Jerome A. Foley The Dalles; his mother, Irena M Foley, Cornelius (Oregon) and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be held at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in The Dalles, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, with Reverend Todd Unger officiating. Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home in The Dalles, is in care of arrangements.
