The Dalles Weekly Reminder, September 15, 1983
     Ted L. Foreman, 65, a resident of The Dalles for the past 12 years, died 
Sunday at his home following a long illness.
     He was born April 5, 1918 in New Iberia, La.
     Mr. Foreman worked in heavy construction since moving to the area.
     He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post 
19.
     Survivors include his wife, Minnie, The Dalles; two brothers, Isaac 
Foreman, Detroit, Mich., and Jesse B. Foreman, Houston, Tex.; a sister, Annie 
Mae Robinson, Houston; and several nieces and nephews.
     Memorial services were yesterday (Wednesday) at Smith Callaway Chapel, 
with Pastor Charles Tatum officiating.  Private cremation services followed in 
Portland.
