The Dalles Weekly Reminder, September 20, 1984
     Dana Christina Fredrickson, 84, died at a local nursing home Tuesday, 
Sept. 11.  She lived in The Dalles since 1937.
     She was born near Hillsboro on Dec. 22, 1899.
     She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness church.
     Survivors include a son, John Fredrickson, The Dalles; six grandchildren, 
five great-grandchildren and one niece.  Her husband, Lawrence, died in 1962, 
and two daughters, Emma Jean and Mildred, also died earlier.
     Graveside funeral services were Thursday at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery.  
She lay in state at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home on Thursday.
