The Dalles Weekly Reminder, May 1, 1987
Eunice D. Gordion, 66, died April 26 at a local hospital.  She was a resident 
of The Dalles for 23 years.

Mrs. Gordion was born in Grand Ronde, Ore., March 6, 1921.  She moved here in 
1964 with her husband.  She and her husband owned and operated the Mill Creek 
Motel.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Kenneth C. Gordion, of The Dalles; 
a daughter, Jovia Bruce of The Dalles; three sisters, Wanda Woods of Portland, 
Eureta Lytle of Lebanon and Virginia Hampton; three brothers, Chester Pruitt 
of Oregon City, Ernest Pruitt of Winchester and Pete Pruitt of Rainier, Ore.; 
four grandchildren, Bonnie, Benny, Clifford and Misty; one great-grandchild, 
Corinne Savage; many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by 
Pastor Ron Coleman.  Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
