The Dalles Chronicle, July 24,   2006
     Marcille Charlotte Holman, 80, a resident of The Dalles, died at a Hood 
River hospital Tuesday, July 4, 2006.

     She was born in Portland, on Oct. 1, 1926, to George and Callie (Montez) 
Forcia. She grew up and graduated as valedictorian from high school near 
Notie. 

     She married Robert Holman in November 1955. They had two sons, Robert 
Franklin Holman, born June 9, 1957 and David Lee Holman, born Jan. 8, 1960. 

     She enjoyed reading and writing short stories for Reader’s Digest.

     She is survived by her sons, Robert F. Holman and his wife Sherry, Nampa, 
Idaho; and David Holman, The Dalles. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Robert Holman.

     Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-Quatt Crematory with 
Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
