The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 29, 1982
     Neva I. Jones, 86, a daughter of Frank and Alice Kirkham, died Jan. 16 in 
Friendship Nursing Center in Portland.
     She was born Sept. 18, 1895 in the Dufur area and moved to Portland in 
1918.  Her husband Raymond Jones, died in December 1930.
     Survivors include her sister, Ruby Kirkham of The Dalles; two daughters, 
Maxine Dagsland and Helen Sutton and two sons, Donald and Loren Jones, all of 
Portland; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-
grandchildren.
     Private funeral services were Jan. 17 at Pearson-Allen Funeral Home in 
Portland
